4:00 a.m. Tuna or Sardines, Apple, 4 prunes, Oatmega Bar.
8:00 a.m. Apple, 4 prunes, 1/2 Oatmega Bar. or 70 cal Fiber 1
12:00 p.m. Apple, 4 prunes, 1/2 Oatmega Bar. or 70 cal Fiber 1
600 TOTAL CALORIES BEFORE DINNER . Very low fat, High Protein, High Fiber, high nutrients.
Sat & Sun (Off Days)
8:00 a.m. I usually have a Large bowl of cereal. 1/2 Cup each Fiber One Original, Total, Multi Grain Cheerios, some Blue Berries, low sugar Craisins all mixed together with a little PB 2, cinnamon top, Dan Active or yogurt and unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk for about 600 calories.
12:00 p.m. Tuna, Salmon or Sardines, Apple and Oatmega Bar for about 300 calories.
900 TOTAL CALORIES BEFORE DINNER. Very low fat, high protein and a little fiber.
I eat almost anything for dinner each night. Including lean meat lasagna, burgers, brats, hot dogs, chili, almost anything home cooked, anything on the Green or Yellow food pages. I try to avoid FMDs listed on my Red Food Page.
I usually have a 70 calorie Fiber One bar as a before bed snack. I have read that a whole grain snack before bed, reduces sugar spikes during the night and improves sleep.
I usually try to have what I call a Light Night dinner 2 nights per week. I usually have either an omelet or scrambled eggs with a multi grain muffin or a pack of tuna along with a large bowl of whole grain cereal for a total of about 500 to 600 calories with very low fat.
A 3 egg omelet has only 210 calories. I add veggies, lean ham or Oscar Mayer Fully Cooked Bacon, and Parmesan Cheese for a total of about 4g Sat Fat and about 300 calories. Lots of protein and nutrients.
Egg Lands Best egg are rich in protein, omega-3 and many other nutrients. I find eggs to be a very satisfying meal and not just for breakfast.
I'm sure some of you are thinking SARDINES. GROOOSSS!! In my opinion Sardines are one of the cleanest, healthiest sources of abundant Protein. The key to great flavor Sardines is BONELESS, SKINLESS, OLIVE OIL. The boneless, skinless makes the flavor much more mild, the olive oil reduces the fishy smell and improves the flavor and adds more healthy fat.
